# The member object

> One of your end users, inside a workspace.

A member is one user of your product inside a customer's workspace. Members you create are invisible: MeetingKit never emails them or asks them to sign in. See [Connect calendars](/meetingkit/calendar-connection). What applies to a member's meetings is its `settings`; see [Settings](/meetingkit/settings).
